Mahindra & mahindra wants to make more and more auto-enthusiasts across india through this initiative that has been gearing up every auto-enthusiasts from engineering and management fraternity. It reigns the numero uno position in the automobile quiz of india for four years.


The 4th edition of mahindra AQ already kick-started with nation-wide city rounds on 3rd september 2012.The city rounds are to be held across 24 cities in india.both regional finals and finale will be conducted by noted journalist siddharth vinayak patnakar(A.k.A:SVP) almost 40,000 engineering and B-school students are expected to compete head-on to win the coveted auto quiz


I and my team member Mahurshi Parikh from GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE,DAHOD in GUJARAT went to participate in  MAHINDRA AQ quiz to be held at L.D COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING in Ahmedabad on 13th september,2012 which fell to be the 9th city after commencement of quiz.


With a sip of cup of some fresh tea and maska bun,we entered college campus.being welcomed by a big hoardings and banners,one could easily reach to the exact venue.we distinctly saw a throng and chaos near registration desk.we somehow made through and got confirmed.The quiz was in the aryabhatta hall.There were more than 500 students coming from various colleges of Gujarat

The inaugural edition of the quiz received an enthusiastic and overwhelming response from the students.The 1st round saw participation of more than 60 teams.The teams were given 20 minutes to come out with the answers of 25questions.


At the end of the result,only 6 teams made it into the next mains quiz round.cut-off was 14 marks.Unfortunately,we got 13 marks making it to top 10 teams.we were disappointed y our marks just because we were close enough to success.

The mains was a mix of audio and visual rounds and featured questions from automobile world that checked the knowledge varying from f1,rally,recent and past launches,auto history,brand,cars and bikes ,etc
