Toyota Echo/Yaris TWM performance Shifter cable bushing Kit installation guide

It is better to park on a flat surface, such as a may engage and release the hand brake and shift gears in neutral. If not then is forced to install the shifter cable bushings with a slightly inclined surface, place wooden blocks, in front of or behind the wheels for moving the working on the car.
Approximate installation time: 30 minutes
Necessary tools:
? Ratchet
? a 10 mm deep socket
? The Ratchet extension
? Needle nose pliers/vise grips

Install:
1. working in the engine compartment, remove the two battery terminals using the 10 mm socket with ratchet. Remove the battery using a 10 mm deep socket to tie-down the two bolts. The throttle cable has to be removed from the bracket, as shown in the left. Please note: the battery will be installed and how to tie on the sidelines again at a later date.
2. remove the battery and plastic battery tray in the engine compartment. Aside from them in a safe place again in the future.
3. start with the removal of the intake of loosening up the left, 10 mm socket and ratchet the bolt and disconnect the outlet pipe to the Air box. Disconnect both sensors highlighted in the image of the Air box. Unclip the two latches to the Air box. Remove the air filter and air filter to get the lower part of the air-at the top of the screen. Aside from them again later.
4. remove the air filter by using a 10 mm socket and ratchet extension at the bottom of the three bolts. Aside from them again later.
5. remove the bolt, keeping close to the driver's side headlight using a 10 mm socket and ratchet extension. Remove the intake to the lower part of the engine compartment and put aside for later.
6. now you can access, as well as cable-bushings. Remove the cotter hair buckles by using the needle nose pliers. Also remove the metal washers holding the stock rubber bushings. These washers are not specified, but should be seen, if you return back to the stock bushings in the future.
7. remove the two rubber bushings in stock shifter cables. You can use the pin to move the arm (where the cotter hairpin was attached) to force out the shifter cable bushings. If the santa paper, clean the pins and loop the cable on the inside, if the corrosion. These bushings will no longer be used, but it is to be kept, if you return back to the stock bushings in the future.
